Cloned Genes
These are cloned HLA genes and B-LCL transfected with selected HLA genes, which are available on a limited basis.
More than 300 transfected cell lines, including 288 transfected with HLA class I genes and 16 with HLA class II genes, are currently available.
The IHWG Cell and DNA Bank also maintains an inventory of 40 different HLA class I and class II genes. The HLA cDNA clones have been established in pCR2.1, pLNCX, pcDNA3.1, PEAK10 and pUC18 cloning and expression vectors.
