Reverse Line Strip -Software Update

As of November 2000, the Reverse Line Strip probe reactivity pattern for the HLA-A*6603 allele has been revised. As a result of this revision, the probe pattern for the A*6603 allele in the HLA-A hit table has been changed, and the RLS interpretation software has been updated. In the original HLA-A hit table, the reactivity of probe 16 for this allele was indicated with a question mark, and the software considered this probe to be negative for the A*6603 allele. In the revised HLA-A hit table, probe 16 is indicated as positive for this allele. While this change has no affect on the QC process, it has the potential to affect the ability of the strip interpretation software to make correct allele assignments if it is not addressed. The revised HLA-A hit table can be downloaded from the Protocols Page.

This problem can be fixed by downloading a set of upgrade files. Because we need to ensure that each lab using the RLS typing method is using the most up to date version of the software, please enter your name, IHWG Labcode and email address in the fields below, and then press the "Submit Form" button to be taken to the RLS update page.
