Purified genomic DNA from the Cell and DNA Bank core inventory of B-cell lines is now available. DNA may be ordered as complete reference panel sets (Reference Panels), as smaller quality control panels, or as individual samples (Purified DNA). The reference and quality control panel sets consist of 10 to 52 DNA samples of 2-10 µg each, and provide an array of MHC or MHC-related polymorphisms corresponding to a specific gene, gene family, or genomic locus (e.g., HLA, microsatellite, NK/KIR). Individual DNA samples from selected B-cell lines in the inventory may be ordered (Order) in varying quantities.
Purified genomic DNA is extracted by a standard salting-out method and consists of high molecular weight DNA fragments of 25–100 kb or larger. Size and integrity of genomic DNA are verified by gel electrophoresis; DNA purity is assessed by OD 260/280 ratio.
